Welcome, Elementary Families!

It is with great excitement that we introduce a brand new Elementary Band Program – the FBI!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is simply to support your student in attending rehearsals at their school, one day per week for a one-hour period, and to encourage them to practice at home in order to further an interest in the arts – specifically, instrumental music.

Our Mission is to use music as a catalyst to improve academics, increase motivation, and raise self-confidence. We will encourage students to be leaders, form friendships, and achieve excellence in all areas. We believe that engaged students, parents, and teachers are the key to great success, and will promote this within our Seminole Community.

The rehearsal schedule:TBA

I will attend each rehearsal with members of the High School Band’s Student Leadership.  These students are the epitome of role models, and will join me in helping Elementary students to learn to play their instruments, and have fun!

We are grateful to have the support of all three Principals in this endeavor – if your student is enrolled in an after school program, such as “R Club”, they will be excused to come to FBI, and then will return to the group once rehearsal is over.

If you are interested in renting an instrument, that can be accomplished for a fee of $25 per month. We will also help determine which instrument your student is best suited for.

We are very pleased to have your participation, and have great expectations that this program will benefit the students, and have a great impact on music in our Seminole Community. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me!
