The Seminole High School Warhawk Band is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning Band Program from Pinellas County, FL. Yearly membership averages 140 students, who participate in seven different components of the Band Program throughout the year. The band competes and performs both locally and nationally many times each year, traveling to cities throughout the country to gain musical and life experiences. Our bands participate in numerous community outreach programs, and students volunteer in many capacities to enrich themselves and others.
Students rehearse approximately 15 hours per week in addition to maintaining some of the highest GPAs in the county. Each family contributes funds to satisfy the Band's budget, which nears $500,000 each year. Corporate and Personal Donations are funneled into a General Scholarship Fund, which allows students whose families are unable to contribute financially to fully participate in a life-changing program.
