WE NEED MORE HELP.  Water Duty is one of the most important things we do! All our kids need your support. We need more current parents responding to the Sign-Up Genius. New band parents, want to help and don’t know where to start? Try out working concessions for a game! It is always wonderful that people return to help out but we do want to see NEW faces too!

The Boosters run both the home and visitors' side concession stands for Junior Varsity and Varsity football home games at SHS. This is a very important fundraiser so please come to support the program. If you can't show up at the designated time you can still volunteer!

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow parents and support the program. If you know someone who would like to volunteer, you can sign them up or forward them this signup site. Everyone is welcome to join us!

Please sign up for our next Home Game Sept 27th.  These profits “only” go to the general fund HOWEVER it still benefits each kid AND our travel plans.

Seminole Sound shirts are now available for Pre-Order! Pre-ordered shirts will be $3 less than on Sound Day – we highly encourage you to preorder to ensure your size is available. All shirts must be paid for – students DO NOT receive a free shirt.   

Show Host shirts - If you are volunteering in Parking, Crowd Control, or Staging – you MUST wear an orange Show Host shirt in order to distinguish you from other guests on Sound Day. Seminole Sound Volunteer sign-up

SAVE THE DATE – Saturday, October 5TH!

The 43rd Annual Seminole Sound Spectacular is scheduled for Saturday October 5th, 2019. Marching Bands from all over the state will attend our event. We will need everyone’s help to make this the successful as it has been in the past.  Please plan now so you can be scheduled off work or if you need someone to help watch your children.  This event cannot happen without everyone’s help!  Friends & family are welcome to volunteer too.  Here is the link for the volunteer signup.  Shifts are broken up into 2 different shifts, but we ask that everyone sign up for 2 if able.

Your family & friends can purchase a season ticket now that will include admission to Sound.  This is an event they will not want to miss!  Contact Emily Simpson to purchase tickets. 502-378-2102. 

Sitting is limited during this event and we ask that our parents not sit in the stands to watch the performance.  The students will be performing the night before at the football game. Please come and watch them perform then.  During Seminole Sound, we need your help by volunteering.

Golf Carts

If you, a family member, neighbor, work, or someone else you know has a golf cart that we could borrow on Saturday, October 5th, you would make our work so much easier.  We need anywhere from 6 to 10 golf carts to setup, run the event, and take down in the evening.  Please let Beckie Biglin know if you can help at shsbbspecialevents@gmail.com.

Trailers

If you, a family member, neighbor, work, or someone else you know has a flatbed trailer with side railings and a ramp, please let us know.  We use these to transport band equipment during the performance from the practice site at Bauder Elementary to Seminole High School student parking entrance.  We need anywhere from 6 to 10 trailers.  We will also need drivers to pull the trailers.  If this is something you would be able to help with, please let Beckie Biglin know at shsbbspecialevents@gmail.com.

 

SEMINOLE SHINE AUTO, TRUCK & MOTORCYCLE SHOW – OCTOBER 20TH

We are in immediate need of more trophy sponsors for the show.  If you own your own business or friends with a business owner and would like to sponsor the show, please contact Scott or Emily Simpson at 502-378-2102.  This will be a very profitable fundraiser for the band, but only if our parents help obtain sponsors.

Free Spectator admission and Vehicle registration only $15.  If you would like to setup a booth and a vehicle $35.

Food Trucks, 50/50, lots of great vehicles to look at and just plain good family fun.

Anyone can print out these flyers and hand them out or hang them up! Just try to keep them in color and please do not alter them. You can post them on any auto club sites or forum's you may be a part of. All types of cars, trucks, motorcycles, jeeps, vans, etc. are welcome! And we are looking for auto & motorcycle related vendors. Together, we can make this an amazing show!

NOTICE:   When working at a venue (ie Raymond James, Al Lang, etc.), it is YOUR responsibility to provide proof that you worked the actual event you signed up for.  Take a picture of your sign-in sheet and forward it to the AR Treasurer.  These sheets are not provided by the venue when they send payment!

If you do not provide documentation, then your child’s individual ledger WILL NOT be credited, and the money will go into the general band fund. Orientation is for everyone. TEAM is only every 3 yrs.

Don’t forget about Scrips cards during this Back to School shopping season. 43rd ANNUAL SEMINOLE SOUND VOLUNTEER SIGNUP

The Annual Seminole Sound Spectacular is a Marching Band Competition, hosted by the Seminole Warhawk Band Boosters at our own Warhawk Stadium. As one of the oldest, most storied events in the Marching Band arena, it is the single largest General Fund Fundraiser that exists within our Band.  The Program is attended by bands, large and small, from across the state and beyond.

An endeavor as sizable as this requires help from each parent, extended family members, each student, and even friends too!

Saturday, October 5th is a day that we hope you will plan to spend at SHS.

**Times are estimates as Event Schedule for the day has not been set yet. The 'Chair' from each section will confirm start times closer to 5th. **

Orders for Cheesecake sales have been extended to SEPT 20TH in order to obtain additional sales.  If you need a catalog, please contact a captain, Emily Simpson or Mr. Madrinan.
