Hi everyone-We have slowed to a crawl on our Snap Raise Donations-It's time to get moving again!! We are currently at $8,525. That means we still need to bring in at least another $4475!! Missing our $13,000 goal is not an option. We currently have just about 50% of our students participating. We need everyone participating to make sure we get there. We have passed all deadlines to complete your student’s 2019 Marching Band paperwork and turn in Participation Pledges. We are still missing the required paperwork and pledges from many of our students. You will be contacted over the next week if you are still missing items. Having this paperwork on file is not only required by the county but is also needed to keep your student safe and healthy. Thank you to all those parents who have already turned in completed packets.

Physicals-If you still need a physical for your child, we will have Rebecca Martin ARNP, at the school one more time to make sure these get completed. She'll be there August 1 from 5p-7p. The cost is $20.

Small & Local Business Parents & Friends, here is the 1st of several sponsor opportunities.
Put your company logo on the show flyer!! This flyer will be EVERYWHERE! Digital & paper. It will be passed out at tons of car & bike show and cruises. Posted all over social media and placed in lots of local businesses. Space is limited, and so is time. So, if you are interested, please contact Emily Simpson fundraising@seminoleband.org or 502-378-2102 as soon as possible so she can get this flyer out to public and start getting our show under way!!!
Orientation is for everyone. TEAM is only every 3 yrs.
Orientation is approximately 3 hours long and TEAM Training is approximately 2 hours long.
Please note, it does say that more dates will be added and that your T.E.A.M. training. If you are unsure of your status, contact Emily Simpson at 502-378-2102. She can find out for you.

NOTICE: When working at a venue (ie Raymond James, Al Lang, etc.), it is YOUR responsibility to provide proof that you worked the actual event you signed up for. Take a picture of your sign-in sheet and forward it to the AR Treasurer. These sheets are not provided by the venue when they send payment!
If you do not provide documentation, then your child’s individual ledger WILL NOT be credited, and the money will go into the general band fund.

Every year we print programs to sell at Seminole Sound. This program has information about the show, schools performing, score sheet, menu, advertising, pictures, etc. Each year, band families can sell ads to put in the program and 50% of the ad sale (business only), goes towards your fair share. This a super-easy way to raise money! Advertising for new ads runs from August 1st through September 7th. The renewal period for last year's advertisers is currently in process.

When you approach a company to advertise, please send an email to shsbbspecialevents@gmail.com with the name of the company and your student's name so the company can be added to the "DO NOT APPROACH" list.
Make sure to list students' name on the bottom of the form. Businesses can email ad’s, but payment must be attached to form when dropped in the blue box.
The deadline to submit an advertisement is September 7th - FIRM. No late advertisements will be accepted. If payment is not received by 9/7, the advertisement will not be placed in the program.
