All County Auditions take place at Pinellas Park High School this Wednesday, November 18th, and students are responsible for their own transportation. They should plan on taking their instruments with them after school because the band room will not be open later.

Audition schedules are being made right now, and will be posted as soon as they are ready from the All County Committee.  They will begin at 5 pm and extend into the evening.  Students should plan on arriving at least 45 minutes early to warm up and find their room so they can prepare and not feel rushed.
 

If you are interested in making your voice heard regarding the future of Stand 121 at the Trop, please join us at the Booster Meeting tonight at 7 pm. We will discuss our Booster Agenda and then begin talks on what to do with the Trop going into next season. This will impact the entire Band Program and its future, so you are HIGHLY encouraged to attend!!

Don’t forget it's Sonnys Spirit Night -- Nov. 9th –  This is a fabulous way for us to get together and have fun times with the students, and make a little more money for the band. Share the flyer with friends and family, bring some flyers to the restaurant and discreetly hand them out, the more that use the flyer the more money for the band! Everyone loves to help the band! 25% of every bill goes to the band.

There is a PTSA meeting Tonight at 6 pm, let’s represent the band if we can.(Enter thru Library door).

Combo tickets are now available for pre-order for FMBC on Saturday, 11/21. Prelims are at Gaither High School in Tampa, Finals are at Tropicana Field in St Pete. Combo tickets are $30, and will admit you into both shows. This is a $5 savings compared to purchasing at the gate. (Individual prices are $15 for prelims, $20 for finals).  Kids under 8 are free.

If you would like to order a ticket, I need to know by this Wednesday, 11/11, and your check made out to SHSBB must be in my hands, or in the Blue Box. Tickets, which are all General Admission, will be mailed to the school and distributed upon arrival.  ONLY COMBO TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER.

If you elect to buy tickets at the gate, they will accept CASH ONLY.

9:15 pm          Approximate:  3rd quarter privilege. Band sent to the concession stand for food and social time. Bring Money! ($3-10)

10:00 pm        Approximate:  end of game.  Marching Band Performance by Seminole High School

11:15 pm        Approximate:  depart OHS

11:30 pm        Approximate:  arrive SHS, unload equipment. Students are dismissed only when uniform is properly hung, your instrument/equipment is put away, and facilities are cleaned of trash.
